Five Things you May Not Know About ... "All I Want for Christmas Is You"

I love this song. And, many of you do, too. Let's learn some things about it you may not know.

1. It is the most played Christmas song on Country radio stations every year.

2. Released in 1989 by Vince Vance and the Valiants, the tune was the only hit from their album.

3. In 2008, it was made into a video and oddly enough they had video from the original year. You'll see Lisa Layne, the incredible vocalist in the video, who performed under the name Violet Valiantette from 1987-1991.

4. A reunion of the group occurred in 2008 and Lisa and the Group performed the song live. This is part one. Don't miss part two.

5. The producer of the original was James Stroud, who was also Clint Black's producer and later became one of Nashville's most successful record men.
