10 Things You Don’t Know About Josh Turner [Video]

Wow, Josh Turner in concert Saturday night at Ellis Park. Get your tickets at the WBKR studios or at the gate Saturday. Josh Thompson, Glen Templeton, Casey James and Straight Laced on the show as well. And, now the first two of 10 Things You Don't Know About Josh Turner -

1. Josh met his future wife Jennifer while attending a vocal training program. He was recovering from vocal cord surgery. He asked Jennifer to marry him while on a picnic at Percy Priest Lake near Nashville. Josh said he played a demo of a song he wrote for her, “I Can See It in Your Smile” and she cried afterwards. Then, they got the food out to eat. While they said a blessing and held her hand with his left hand, he reached into his pocket with his right hand and pulled out the ring. As soon as they said amen, he asked her to be his wife. And, of course she said yes.

2. Jennifer and Josh have three children, Hampton Otis, Colby Lynch and Crawford Marion Turner. Jennifer is an accomplished musician and plays piano and sings background vocals in Josh’s band.
