5K Run/Walk Benefit For Greenville Girl Injured In Major Car Accident

On May 21st, Greenville teenager Rachel Pentecost was injured in a terrible car accident. After taking three hours just to get her out of the vehicle, she was rushed to the Owensboro hospital. Being as severely injured as she was, they life-flighted her to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville where she is still recovering. Although she had an above the knee amputation on her left leg, Rachel is progressing great!

Run For Rachel 5K Run/Walk is Saturday, July 27th beginning at 8:00am (registration at 7:15am).  The race will begin at the Central City Convention Center. The first 20 participants to cross the finish line will get a t-shirt. Medals will be awarded in each category.

The cost to participate is $35.00, all proceeds will go to Rachel and her family as she recovers from her accident.
