The theme of this year's parade is “A Bicentennial Christmas.” Here in Daviess County, we're celebrating our bicentennial and the organizers of the parade decided to get in on the action.

The parade is set for Saturday afternoon, November 21, 2015 AT 4:30PM.  The parade route will begin along 2nd Street at Pearl Street and proceed west and end at Locust Street.

The event will begin at 4:30 PM, and will feature celebrities (Florence Henderson, Carson Kressley and more), lighted floats, horse-drawn carriages, bands, clowns, music and much, much more. And, of course the jolly old elf, Santa Claus, will be there too!

Entries are now being accepted on our website at www.ChristmasParade.net. Early bird discount rates are in effect through Saturday, November 7. Absolutely no entries will be accepted after Saturday, November 14th.

It’s time to kick off the Christmas season in Owensboro with the 79th Annual Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas parade in the state of Kentucky!
