You've heard us talk about it.  You have heard us slobber over it.  Heck, you've even heard us try to talk to you guys on the radio with our mouths full of it.  It's Dorothy Simpson's MONKEY BREAD!  And, we decided that it's only fair (because we torture you with its aroma and flavor on a regular basis) to share the recipe with you once and for all here at WBKR.com.  Ladies and gentlemen, WBKR proudly presents the award-winning, mouth-watering, get-out-of-my-way-I've-got-a-plastic-knife-and-a-dream-inducing recipe for MONKEY BREAD, courtesy of Tell City, Indiana's resident "Sweet Genius," Dorothy Simpson.  ENJOY!!

MONKEY BREAD

2 Cans Biscuits (Dorothy uses Pillsbury Grands)

1 Tsp Cinnamon

1/2 Cup Sugar

3/4 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Stick Butter or Margarine

1/2 Cup Pecans

Grease a bundt pan.  Place 1/2 cup pecans in bottom of the pan.  Mix cinnamon with the white sugar.  Quarter biscuits and roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture.  Layer biscuits over the pecans.  Melt butter/margarine and brown sugar over low heat, then pour over biscuits.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Do NOT over bake!  Remove from pan.  Then eat the Monkey Bread like you are a savage beast from a show on Animal Planet!
