A Suburb in Ohio named “Oregon” Wants a Name Change for Jan 12th

Since Ohio State beat down on Alabama the focus has been on those Ducks out in Oregon.  And just to be honest and everything...I'm nervous about this game but who wouldn't be nervous.. it's the National Championship but the Bucks don't back down  Yet another Championship Game that we are... gonna play... and hopefully win!

A lot of non Ohio State fans would think this is funny that we are all squirming around and being scared.  Hey maybe we'll win... maybe.  But the best part of this entire ordeal is the fact that a very large portion of a particular Toledo Ohio suburb are all OSU fans.  Therefore they wanted to change the name of their Toledo suburb from one name to another for just one day and one day only. The day?  January 12th.  The day of the National Championship where Ohio State Plays OREGON.  Name of the Suburb.... OREGON.

Can't say I blame them. And even as the hours passed by and the city decided NOT to change the name for the 12th I still like the idea a lot because that has to be some serious bad luck and since the city authorities are not letting this pass and the Buckeyes lose this game??? O-H....N-O.  They are going to be the main curse in Ohio State... other than tattoos.

So the Oregon suburb of Toledo wants a name change... Awesome but what would it have been?  There have been a couple names floating around like: Buckeyeville, Ohio City, Brutus town.  But let's get serious with this thing shall we?  Let's do a top 8 of Brett's names for the Oregon Toledo Switch.

8 - Script, Ohio.  Plain and simple, to the point.

7 -  Meyerburg, Ohio... It's an Urban area.

6 -  Michigansucksville, Ohio.  It doesn't matter who we are playing... Michigan still sucks.

5 - Sloopyville, Ohio.  Keep some tradition going and hum this one in your head throughout the game.

4 - Buckeye County, Ohio.  This one is pretty easy.

3 - Benelli, Ohio.  If you're going duck hunting then you need the proper equipment.
