Check out this amazing event being hosted by the Apollo High School Air Force JROTC! What a great way to honor our an American Symbol!

Apollo High School JROTC has plans to host a flag retirement ceremony on Tuesday, September 13. The event will take place in front of the school around the flagpole located at 2280 Tamarack Road.

The school will ceremoniously retire flags that have flown at different Daviess County Public Schools. The JROTC will also be accepting damaged and worn flags which will be retired later on in the month. Flags may be delivered to the school weekdays from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. to the attention of Command Chief Franklin Smith.
