Aric Almirola survived a was at the right place at thee right time and enjoyed a trip to victory lane Sunday afternoon at Daytona International Speedway.. Almirola and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers had to wait a little longer than they would have liked as rain forced the Coke Zero 400 from Saturday night under the lights to Sunday afternoon.Once the race got started Almirola was the last driver standing after the race was called with 48 laps to go due to another round of rain. Almirola also survived an 18 car pile up which left just 13 drivers around at race's end. With the win Almirola garuntees a spot in the Chase for the Cup just over two months away.
