The BATTLE FOR THE BIG O continues!  And last Friday night at The Sandbar in Owensboro, two acts fought their way into the finale, Saturday, July 23rd at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre.  The first was the country music duo Aly'an (from Harrodsburg, Kentucky), who took the stage and scorched an original song called "Going Home."   Aly'an was the top vote-getter at the Sandbar audition and earned their shot at $500 and the chance to open The Big O Music Fest, Saturday, July 30th at Reids Orchard, where they could open for Dierks Bentley, Chris Young, Colt Ford, Jake Owen, David Nail, Steve Holy and Sarah Darling.  Check out Aly'an's encore performance of Keith Urban's hit song "Stupid Boy" and see what you think!  And, by the way, if you think you have the talent to TAKE THE STAGE, check out the official rules of the contest and upcoming audition locations at www.wbkr.com/the-battle-for-the-big-o/!  There are just TWO AUDITIONS LEFT!!
