American Idol’s Brandy Neelly Qualifies for WBKR’s Battle for The Big O Finale [Video]

American Idol star Paul Jolley competed in WBKR's Battle for The Big O then went on to make the show's Top Ten.  Jenny Beth Willis competed in the Battle and the next year made it all the way to Idol's Top 20 girls.  Now another Idol hopeful has found her way to us.  Check out Brandy Neelly, who showed up Saturday at Towne Square Mall for Day Three of our Battle auditions, and blasted her way into the finals with this mesmerizing performance of "Up to the Mountain."  Watch!

With that performance, Brandy tied for first place out of 16 Battle hopefuls and will now move onto the Battle for The Big O finale event, Saturday, August 24th at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre.

One more open audition site remains for the 2013 Battle for The Big O.  It's coming up Friday, August 2nd at Hawg-n-Sauce in Mount Vernon, Indiana.  Registrations start at 5pm and auditions get underway at 6.  For full contest rules, CLICK HERE!
