Nearly 2,000 emails were sent in since my original plea Wednesday. Man, that was a ton to go through. What a wide range of artists you gave me.

The past year has been extremely strong for Carrie.  'Blown Away' made history, debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart. That made her only the second country artist in the 47-year history of the chart to have each of their first four albums debut at No. 1. Now, she's continuing her amazing streak -- and based on her track record, has many more accomplishments up her sleeve. Carrie has sold over 15 million albums.

YOUR CHOICE FOR  MALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR

Luke Bryan

On October 12, 2012, Luke Bryan announced his first headlining tour, the "Dirt Road Diaries Tour," which started on January 17, 2013 right here at the Ford Center in Evansville. He went on to 20 cities before ending on March 23. Millions of tickets were sold. "Crash My Party", was released just a few days ago and the first single, the title cut, hit #1 in July. The album's second single, "That's My Kind of Night"  reached Number One on the Hot Country Songs chart in August 2013.

Miranda Lambert

Natuarally, Miranda has been on tour and releasing hit tunes. She also, collaborated in the side project Pistol Annies. On October 23, 2012, Lambert and Dierks Bentley co-headlined the 33-dates Locked & Reloaded Tour, beginning on January 17, 2013.  In February 21,we watched as Miranda appeared as a guest reviewer on Lifetime's  Project Runway. She and hubby, Blake Shelton, enjoying a great year as soloists as together from time to time, too.
