Our good friend Andy Brasher--one half of Brasher Bogue--stopped by the WBKR studio Wednesday afternoon. Always good to see Andy.

We chatted about his gigs with Dustin (Bogue) this week in the Carolinas and their performance of "Dirt Road Anthem" with Colt Ford onstage at the Big O Music Fest.

And we talked about sushi. But that's not important.

What is important is the debut of the brand new Brasher Bogue single "Son of a Gun"--the first release from their upcoming brand new album "By God Part II."

I remember they mentioned they were working on it the last time they were here together. And now we have the first single. Andy didn't want me to play the studio version, preferring to wait until the day of its release, Thursday, September 12, which--depending on when you're reading this--just happens to be today.

No, I didn't play the official release, but Andy DID bring his guitar.

Well...I don't think I have to finish.
