Our family started celebrating Halloween early.  We began our journey with the City of Owensboro's "Trail of Treats."This event is near and dear to my heart as I used to be in charge of it when I worked for the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department.   It has evolved into quite a SPOOKtacular time!

Charlotte and I went as Bumble Bees.  It was such a fun time  Tucker and my husband, Joe dressed as Superman and Super DAD.  We arrived early to avoid the chaos of all the lines and craziness.  SUCCESS!

Tuck did such an absolute good job with the costumed characters he wasn't scared one bit!  We also visited Reid's Orchard for Shindig sponsored by Bridgepoint Church.  Charlotte had a wardrobe change for this trip.

Even my husband, Joe, got in the spirit for a hot minute!

And finally, Halloween night arrives!   We took all four kiddos to several local church trunk or treats.  Parker was too cool to dress up, Braden made up his costume himself, Tucker was wound up on candy, and Charlotte hadn't had a nap if you can only imagine how the night went!!!  At one point after we arrived home, all the kids had a total meltdown and I lost it and I'm letting them have it (door open for trick or treaters) and we hear a knock!!!  Sorry to all the families who witnessed our trainwreck of a family moment last night!
