Apollo Basketball Player Selected for East-West All-Star Game

Exciting news for Apollo basketball standout, Zach Hopewell.  The Apollo Eagle senior has been selected to play in the 2017 KABC Senior East West All- Star Basketball Game.

The annual East West All-Star game will be held at 7 p.m. CST Saturday, April 15, at Transylvania University’s Beck Gymnasium.  Zach was selected by a vote of the regional coaches across the state of Kentucky.  He will proudly represent Apollo High School and the 3rd Region!

This season, Zach was named to the All-District team and was named the 3rd Region “Player of the Year.” He had an absolutely amazing senior year.  He averaged 22.8 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for the Eagles.
