Aside from the Obvious, What Common Bond Do ‘Forever Country’ and ‘We Are the World’ Share?

While listening to the new multi-superstar collaboration "Forever Country," which celebrates the CMA Awards' 50th anniversary, it occurred to me that it has something in common with that OTHER multi-superstar collaboration of three decades ago.
