Attention President Obama — Nationalize Twinkies!

Okay, Mr. President, you bailed out GM and Chrysler, so now here is something much more important. The American junk food industry is in peril. Hostess Brands is closing. There will be no more Twinkies! There are even parody songs about it!So, President Obama it is time for drastic steps.

A man in Kansas City, Daniel B., has started a petition for the president to "Nationalize the Twinkie industry." We all know every thing is up to date in Kansas City. It's the home of the Royals. We know you like that, Mr. President.

His petition reads: "We the undersigned, hereby request Barack Obama to immediately nationalize the Twinkie industry and prevent our nation from losing her sweet creamy center," reads the request, which has been posted on the White House's official We The People website.

So far about 3,500 people have signed on. If that number gets to 25,000 by December 16, you, sir, will have to respond.

Of course, Michelle won't like it. And, if you are like the rest of us, if the missus doesn't like it, it doesn't matter what you think.
