Chadwick Benefield

Chad here! After 9 years of being one half of The WBKR Waking Crew, I am now one half of the all-new CB Radio Show here on WBKR! Our show runs 6a-9am CST Monday through Friday and I also co-host The BKR's Dozen Countdown with Dave Spencer each Saturday morning at 8am. In addition to flapping my lips on the air, I emcee a variety of events all over the state of Kentucky. I emcee charity functions, beauty pageants and dance competitions. I love country music. In fact, I love all kids of music. I listen to everything from Justin Moore to Katy Perry to Sam Smith to David Nail to Kings of Leon to Garth Brooks to Kelly Clarkson to J Hud and Pitbull. I love tennis, running, and reality television. When I am not working I am likely on the sectional watching The Blacklist, Project Runway, The Biggest Loser, American Horror Story, and pretty much anything on The Tennis Channel or ESPN. I vacation . . . a lot! I love Mexico and any place I can get to on a cruise ship.

UPDATE: Connections Between Missing Women in Tristate? [Photos]

Connections?  Are there connections between the handful of women who are reported missing in the tristate?  That's the question that the experts have been asking all week.  That's the question that people like me are asking.  And that's precisely why I have spent the week pouring over the details, police reports, news accounts and Facebook feeds of the tristate women who have vanished, without a trace, over the last four years. Yesterday, I posted a blog in which I tried to connect the dots between these women.  And, apparently, I am not the only person paying to attention to those dots.  I have received many emails and messages about my article from folks and observers just as concerned, bewildered and intrigued as I am.  And some responders have provided me with additional information that adds to the storylines.  For instance, there is another missing woman who truly fits the alleged victim profile and there are details in some of the other cases that give them even stronger connections to their missing counterparts.

Possible Connections Between Missing Women in Tristate [Photos]

Women are missing.  Rumors are flying.  And people in the tristate, particularly women, are scared.  When Kristy Kelley of Boonville was reported missing Friday, August 15th, it seemed, at first, an isolated incident.  However, as more and more reports surface we are now becoming aware that there are several women missing from Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois and it seems, just maybe, there are common threads between them.  Is it possible that the tristate is home to some sort of serial abductor?  Do these women truly share common traits and were they chosen targets of some thief in the night?  I have spent the last couple of nights combing through police reports, news accounts and Facebook sites dedicated to each woman and I have found what I consider to be some disturbing similarities.

New High School Dance Rules Anger DCHS Parents

This was taken my junior year of high school with my sophomore prom date Caroline Shively.  My things have changed since this photo was taken back in 1988.  As a matter of fact, my alma mater, Daviess County High School has established some brand new rules about its high school dances and parents, some of whom are former classmates of mine, are not happy about them at all.
