Erin Grant

I am originally from Ohio County, specifically Hartford. I spent a lot of my early years tagging along with my Dad to various sporting events, so needless to say, I love sports! My favorite sports are basketball, baseball, football, tennis. My favorite team bar none is the St. Louis Cardinals. I love TV way too much! A partial list of my favorite shows would include The Walking Dead, Orange is the New Black, American Horror Story, Downton Abbey, Pretty Little Liars, GIRLS, Sons of Anarchy, Face Off, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory, you get the idea. My hobbies include reading, writing, blogging and spending time with my niece Zoey. I started my broadcasting career in 1998 at Western Kentucky University and I have been involved in radio ever since. TUNE INTO THE THIRD SHIFT WITH ME MON-FRI, 12A-5A!

Hardrock, Coco, and Joe Bring Back Erin’s Ghosts of Christmas Past [VIDEO]

Last week, our Key Account Manager Bill was telling me and Roxianne the Receptionist about an old Gene Autry Christmas song that wasn't "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and when he told us what to look up, I had a flashback to my grade school days. Meet Hardrock, Coco, and Joe and a very angry-looking Santa?

Have A “Patrick Swayze Christmas” Won’t You? [VIDEO]

I miss Patrick Swayze. He was one of my first celebrity crushes. I religiously watched the mini-series North & South and the sequel, North & South Part 2. There was never a sexier character than Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing. And who can forget Roadhouse?!? I now present to you a Christmas song dedicated to the Roadhouse era heart throb via the wacky gang on 'Mystery Science Theater 3000'. I warn you, it's very silly.

Sam Smith Is Effortless On “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” [VIDEO]

Yes, historically, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" has not been the first holiday song that jumps to your mind, but it has to be one of the most beautiful. And when Sam Smith sings it, with only a piano accompanying him, well, you know.

Throwback Thursday: John Prine’s Debut Album [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

I was introduced to John Prine through my cousin Alex. I know, I didn't hear a John Prine song until about fifteen years ago. I didn't know about his Western Kentucky and Muhlenberg County connections. I didn't know the song "Paradise", yet. I did know I was going to like Mr. Prine and his honest stories about life and what he knew.

Cleveland QB Johnny Manziel Will Get First Start Against Cincinnati Sunday

For what it's worth, Johnny Manziel hasn't exactly made a splash in the NFL. That is until two weeks ago when Browns starter Brian Hoyer was pulled in the late stages of the Cleveland/Buffalo game in favor of the back-up, hyped up rookie. Although the Browns lost against Buffalo, Hoyer got the start again this past Sunday against the Colts and they lost by one. Now Coach Mike Pettine is finally turning the ball over to Johnny Football.

Ohio Co. High School Releases 50th Anniversary Lip Dub And Is Rewarded $25,000 From State Farm [VIDEO]

I can't stop smiling, Friday was a big day at my alma mater. A couple of months ago, my sister Hillary (she teaches at OCHS now) asked me for a list of songs from the '60s up until now. For the school's 50th anniversary, which is next year, the staff and the students were going to put together a lip dub video incorporating all the songs. Watch!
