Erin Grant

I am originally from Hartford, Kentucky in Ohio County, which is 20 miles south of Owensboro. I spent a lot of my early years tagging along with my Dad to various sporting events, so needless to say, I love sports! My favorite sports are basketball, baseball, football, tennis. My favorite team bar none is the St. Louis Cardinals. I love TV way too much! A partial list of my favorite shows would include The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Glee, Pretty Little Liars, GIRLS, True Blood, Face Off, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory, you get the idea. My hobbies include reading, writing, blogging and spending time with my niece Zoey. I started my broadcasting career in 1998 at Western Kentucky University and I have been involved in radio ever since.

The Free Players Drumline And Colorguard Wows At WGI [VIDEO]

As you know, I love all things band, specifically marching band. What you may not know, drumline and colorguard doesn't end after marching and football seasons. Earlier this month, the Winter Guard International (WGI) Championships took place in Dayton, Ohio, and a very special drumline and guard performed. A long time friend of mine attends the event almost every year and she posted this video.

The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Crew Returns To TV With “Total Riff Off” [VIDEO]

Confession time. Thanks to YouTube and Netflix, I religiously watch old episodes of the cult TV hit 'Mystery Science Theater 3000'. If I could pick any dream job, it would be to write riffs for TV and movies. I will catch myself watching any show and I will come up with witty commentary. Mostly for self-indulgence, hey, I have to start somewhere! So when I read some of the guys from the old show would be riffing Nat Geo shows, I went nuts!

Hear Michael Jackson Create “Beat It” With Just His Voice

This is really cool. I came across this while browsing Facebook. A good friend of mine from college is a rabid music fan and he always posts neat things, and this is really neat. When it came to songwriting, Michael Jackson didn't really play any musical instruments, so when he came up with a melody or a lyric, he recorded it on a cassette, then he would go to the studio and play it back.

The Night ‘True Detective’ Broke HBO GO [VIDEO] [NSFW]

I think we can all agree I watch WAY too much TV. It's an addiction, but when so many good shows are out there, it's difficult not to tune in. One such show that has captured mine and millions of viewers' attention is HBO's gritty crime drama 'True Detective'. I hope Matthew McConaughey isn't tired of winning awards, because he's going to win some more for his role as the philosophical, flawed detective Rust Cohle. Thus, I could not wait to watch Sunday night's finale. However, I and millions of HBO GO users would have to wait a few hours.
