Erin Grant

I am originally from Ohio County, specifically Hartford. I spent a lot of my early years tagging along with my Dad to various sporting events, so needless to say, I love sports! My favorite sports are basketball, baseball, football, tennis. My favorite team bar none is the St. Louis Cardinals. I love TV way too much! A partial list of my favorite shows would include The Walking Dead, Orange is the New Black, American Horror Story, Glee, Pretty Little Liars, GIRLS, Sons of Anarchy, Face Off, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory, you get the idea. My hobbies include reading, writing, blogging and spending time with my niece Zoey. I started my broadcasting career in 1998 at Western Kentucky University and I have been involved in radio ever since. TUNE INTO THE THIRD SHIFT WITH ME MON-FRI, 12A-5A!

Throwback Thursday: John Prine’s Debut Album [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

I was introduced to John Prine through my cousin Alex. I know, I didn't hear a John Prine song until about fifteen years ago. I didn't know about his Western Kentucky and Muhlenberg County connections. I didn't know the song "Paradise", yet. I did know I was going to like Mr. Prine and his honest stories about life and what he knew.

Cleveland QB Johnny Manziel Will Get First Start Against Cincinnati Sunday

For what it's worth, Johnny Manziel hasn't exactly made a splash in the NFL. That is until two weeks ago when Browns starter Brian Hoyer was pulled in the late stages of the Cleveland/Buffalo game in favor of the back-up, hyped up rookie. Although the Browns lost against Buffalo, Hoyer got the start again this past Sunday against the Colts and they lost by one. Now Coach Mike Pettine is finally turning the ball over to Johnny Football.

Ohio Co. High School Releases 50th Anniversary Lip Dub And Is Rewarded $25,000 From State Farm [VIDEO]

I can't stop smiling, Friday was a big day at my alma mater. A couple of months ago, my sister Hillary (she teaches at OCHS now) asked me for a list of songs from the '60s up until now. For the school's 50th anniversary, which is next year, the staff and the students were going to put together a lip dub video incorporating all the songs. Watch!

Erin Liked (Shocker!) ‘Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever’ [VIDEO]

Notice I used the word "liked" and honestly, it's not the best movie I've ever seen. Still, I knew I had to watch it, so when I returned home this past Saturday night from our Ultimate Dirty Santa Party, I got settled in and I watched the Lifetime original movie, 'Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever'. No, it wasn't bad, but Aubrey Plaza, er, the voice of Grumpy Cat, nailed it.

Erin Reviews the Sharper Image Catalog [PHOTOS]

All right, so Chad shared with you his love of The Swiss Colony catalog; I love it too, are those little mice still the mascots? As of late, I've been receiving a bunch of catalogs that were meant for previous tenants, which is fine, but the other day, two of these babies showed up.

Erin’s Thoughts On ‘The Walking Dead’ Spoiler Controversy [VIDEO]

Confession time, I haven't missed one episode of AMC's The Walking Dead since day one. More importantly, I always make it point to almost always watch each new episode in real time, which for our time zone is 8:00pm, Sunday nights. However, during the mid-season 5 finale which aired this past Sunday, someone (an idiot!) posted the biggest spoiler ever on the show's Facebook page before the first run of the episode finished. Not cool.

Pentatonix Delivers Incredible Version of “Mary, Did You Know?” [VIDEO]

A cappella group Pentatonix has released a new Christmas album, That's Christmas to Me, and while the album contains mostly traditional songs, their rendition of "Mary, Did You Know?" is as stunning and is as moving as any holiday tune I've ever heard. Many have covered it, including Wynonna & Kenny Rogers, Clay Aiken, Kathy Mattea, and most recently, CeeLo Green, but this is simply something else.

Erin’s Take On The ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Teaser Trailer [VIDEO]

While most of the world was out shopping early this morning, I kept checking my phone to see if and when the new teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens would go live. It was announced this week, the teaser would be shown in a limited number of theaters over the long holiday weekend, but who wants to pay for a movie when you have the internet? Folks, and fellow nerds, I'm legitimately super duper pumped for this movie!
