Erin is from Hartford, Kentucky. She began her radio career at Western Kentucky University in 1998, and she came to WBKR in 2007 (ironically, she interned in the same building on Frederica Street in the summer of 1999.) She loves to analyze and write about pop culture, sports, nostalgia, and her beloved Ohio County.

A Black Friday Story Complete with Food Choppers
A year after a much more settled-down version of Black Friday, shoppers were ready to rise and shine to go get the best deals of the year. Times have changed for Black Friday; the specials are popping up online well before the big day, other days such as “Small Business Saturday” and “Cyber Monday” have come along to keep the spirit going. The leaves you pile up to jump into, the leaves you stuff into a giant smiling jack-o-lantern (garbage bag) with for Halloween decor, the leaves that fill the gutters, and so on.
Owensboro’s Jon Brennan Heading Back to ‘The Real World’
Let me begin by saying, this is one post I was born to write, not kidding. In all the years I've worked here at WBKR/WOMI, I've only met Jon Brennan once and it was in passing. I didn't have the chance to grill him on his time in Los Angeles on MTV's The Real World all the way back in 1993.
