I am originally from Hartford, Kentucky. I spent a lot of my early years tagging along with my Dad to various sporting events, so needless to say, I love sports! I My favorite sports are basketball, baseball, football, and tennis. My favorite team bar none is the St. Louis Cardinals. I love TV way too much! A partial list of my favorite shows would include The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, Orange is the New Black, American Horror Story, Downton Abbey, Scandal, Mystery Science Theater 3000, House of Cards, Face Off, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, you get the idea. My music taste is varied, I like k.d. lang, Lady GaGa, Reba, Dolly, Loretta, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ryan Adams, Alabama Shakes, John Prine, Madonna, Radiohead, and lots more. My hobbies include reading, writing, blogging and spending time with my niece Zoey. I started my broadcasting career in 1998 at Western Kentucky University and I have been involved in radio ever since.

Bevin Administration Rolls Out New Dress Code for State Workers

When you work at a creative job where the public doesn't always see you, a dress code doesn't really exist. I'm referring to my field of radio. I take that back, our sales folks dress up and on occasion, I will wear something other than a t-shirt and jeans. Roughly 31,000 Kentucky executive branch employees will no longer be able to rock flip flops, among other clothing items, at work. The Bevin administration has rolled out a new dress code for these employees.
