Jaclyn Graves

I was born in Jackson, TN, but grew up Milan, TN and Mayfield, KY. Ever since I can remember, I've loved the stage. I started singing in public at the age of six at the First Baptist Church in Milan. When I got my first solo, my Mom said, “I didn’t even know she liked to sing!” Ha! I've been blessed to perform on many stages in my life and have even opened for Jake Owen, Eric Church, Gary Allan, Justin Moore, Kellie Pickler, Rodney Atkins, Montgomery Gentry and more. One of the coolest things I've been able to do is to sing (in Latin!) at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. Such a beautiful place and an unforgettable experience. I am a proud graduate of Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) and a lifelong member of Kappa Delta sorority. As most of you know, I'm s HUGE sports fan! I even worked with the WKU men’s basketball team for 3 ½ years while at Western. Being that I grew up in Tennessee, I'm a Vols fan and a Titans girl! After living in Owensboro for only two weeks, I met Chad. (I knew no one, so I wasn't picky, ha!) We, obviously became instant friends and he convinced me to work here at WBKR. I started here on The Morning Show with Chad and Moon, but after my sweet and sassy Carsyn was born, early mornings just weren't going to cut it! I love the Midday Show and talking with y'all day after day. As you know, my Carsyn is my world and I appreciate y'all letting my go on and on about her! I LOVE country music... from Waylon to the Randy Rogers Band, my baby-daddy Luke and the Florida Georgia Line! Being a part of our community thru WBKR is my favorite part of my job! Y'all are the best listeners ever!

You’ll Never Believe Who Narrates The “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” 2000 Remake!

If your house is like mine, you've probably watched Jim Carrey in "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" at least a million gazillion times. We've watched it four times since Wednesday! But, I noticed something last night that I never had. When the credits began at the beginning of the movie, a name flashed on the screen that really caught my eye, so much that I rewound it to double-check. No way he was the narrator, right?!? So, I listened really closely as he began to tell the story that we all love so much and I'll be danged if it wasn't really him! You'll never guess...

There’s Just Something Special About High School Football

As the clock was counting down the last few seconds of today's 2A Kentucky State High School Football Championship game, I couldn't help but tear up. Not because my alma mater Mayfield High School would ultimately win the game. Not because it was our fourth championship in a row, 12th total. And, not because a lot of these players are friends with my nephews and I've watched them grow up. But, it was because of those who were sitting around me. Those who had been there years before. Those who I cheered for, cried with and celebrated alongside of. See, if you didn't grow up in a football town, you just don't get it. Let me try and explain.
