Jaclyn Graves

I was born in Jackson, TN, but grew up Milan, TN and Mayfield, KY. Ever since I can remember, I've loved the stage. I started singing in public at the age of six at the First Baptist Church in Milan. When I got my first solo, my Mom said, “I didn’t even know she liked to sing!” Ha! I've been blessed to perform on many stages in my life and have even opened for Jake Owen, Eric Church, Gary Allan, Justin Moore, Kellie Pickler, Rodney Atkins, Montgomery Gentry and more. One of the coolest things I've been able to do is to sing (in Latin!) at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. Such a beautiful place and an unforgettable experience. I am a proud graduate of Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) and a lifelong member of Kappa Delta sorority. As most of you know, I'm s HUGE sports fan! I even worked with the WKU men’s basketball team for 3 ½ years while at Western. Being that I grew up in Tennessee, I'm a Vols fan and a Titans girl! After living in Owensboro for only two weeks, I met Chad. (I knew no one, so I wasn't picky, ha!) We, obviously became instant friends and he convinced me to work here at WBKR. I started here on The Morning Show with Chad and Moon, but after my sweet and sassy Carsyn was born, early mornings just weren't going to cut it! I love the Midday Show and talking with y'all day after day. As you know, my Carsyn is my world and I appreciate y'all letting my go on and on about her! I LOVE country music... from Waylon to the Randy Rogers Band, my baby-daddy Luke and the Florida Georgia Line! Being a part of our community thru WBKR is my favorite part of my job! Y'all are the best listeners ever!

Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y” Video

I think it's safe to say the "HOLY" is Florida Georgia Line's best song to date! The modern love song even has FGL hater's swaying around the dance floor. It's the first new music since both Tyler and BK have gotten married and their new outlooks on life really show thru in this new one.

They shot the video for the song while in Australia earlier in the year and it could not me more beautiful.

Take a look!

My Thoughts On “The Bachelorette”: Week One

It's time again for millions of women, and let's face it, men too, to gather around the TV on Monday night with wine, snacks and a desperate longing for drama, tears and awkward two on one dates. Yep, The Bachelorette is back! I'll be honest, I typically watch the first night, skip out on the middle non-sense and pick back up again at hometown dates, but this season, I'm committing myself to the show like Jordan committed himself to those skinny jeans in his intro video.

So, let's get to it... here are my thoughts on Week One:

My Personalized Bike

As you know, Chad and I are making a heckuva bike trip next week! We are riding from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis back to Owensboro in 4 days. That's 300 miles total, 75 miles a day. Well, neither of us are actual bikers and had no clue where to start on this journey. But, our friends at Legends are bike experts and are getting us all prepared!

Not gonna lie, I thought we were going to walk into Legends and each pick out our color preference and call it a day. No, not at all, ha! Our friend Ryan had to extensively measure each of us for our own personalized bike! Really, take a look at this...

I Embarrassed Myself At The Meijer Grand Opening [VIDEO]

Last Thursday, Meijer had their Owensboro Grand Opening and our digital managing editor and I just had to check it out. In case you missed it, I am terrible at pronouncing many of the fruits and vegetables in the amazing produce section at Meijer's. Check out that video HERE.

There are a few things that you don't see in the first video that you'll see in this one. I give you a tour of the amazing new retail center AND you'll see me completely embarrass myself. Like so bad that I turned and ran away. I am a grown woman and I RAN AWAY.

Go ahead, check it out, haha!
