Jaclyn Graves

I was born in Jackson, TN, but grew up Milan, TN and Mayfield, KY. Ever since I can remember, I've loved the stage. I started singing in public at the age of six at the First Baptist Church in Milan. When I got my first solo, my Mom said, “I didn’t even know she liked to sing!” Ha! I've been blessed to perform on many stages in my life and have even opened for Jake Owen, Eric Church, Gary Allan, Justin Moore, Kellie Pickler, Rodney Atkins, Montgomery Gentry and more. One of the coolest things I've been able to do is to sing (in Latin!) at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. Such a beautiful place and an unforgettable experience. I am a proud graduate of Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) and a lifelong member of Kappa Delta sorority. As most of you know, I'm s HUGE sports fan! I even worked with the WKU men’s basketball team for 3 ½ years while at Western. Being that I grew up in Tennessee, I'm a Vols fan and a Titans girl! After living in Owensboro for only two weeks, I met Chad. (I knew no one, so I wasn't picky, ha!) We, obviously became instant friends and he convinced me to work here at WBKR. I started here on The Morning Show with Chad and Moon, but after my sweet and sassy Carsyn was born, early mornings just weren't going to cut it! I love the Midday Show and talking with y'all day after day. As you know, my Carsyn is my world and I appreciate y'all letting my go on and on about her! I LOVE country music... from Waylon to the Randy Rogers Band, my baby-daddy Luke and the Florida Georgia Line! Being a part of our community thru WBKR is my favorite part of my job! Y'all are the best listeners ever!

"Me and my big mouth"... I find myself saying this a lot, and I'm guessing Brett Eldredge recently said the same thing, ha! Brett announced on social media a while back that if "Beat Of The Music", a recent single, went Number 1, he'd go swimming with the sharks.

Well, "Beat Of The Music" DID go number 1... did Brett keep his promise?

What You Think About Pageants Is All Wrong

I have the pleasure of hosting the 2014 Miss Daviess County beauty pageant Friday night at the Hines Center. It's no secret that I grew up in the pageant circle. More when I was younger, but I come from a pageant family. I can remember having viewing parties of Miss America, each of us having our own score sheets and comparing with the actual winners. Until high school, I trained to compete in Miss Tennessee. (Cheerleading and singing won that fight, ha.) So, it's a natural fit for me to host the pageant.

Being at practice last night reminded me of something thou.. the misconception that non "pageant people" have about the girls in pageants.

Let me tell you about these girls...

Dave Spencer Is In BIG Trouble! [VIDEO]

While sitting at my desk yesterday afternoon, I saw a flash of light fly by my door. Ok, maybe not a flash, but nonetheless... There he was, in all of his 6 ft 5 inches of bike-riding glory, Dave Spencer, cruising thru the hallways of the station on the worlds biggest bike.

While, I momentarily got distracted by the enormous bike, I quickly realized he was missing something very, very important. As any good mother would do, I then had a "come-to-Jesus" talk with Mr. Spencer.

Take a look for yourself and see how that went...
