Last night at the Panama City Beach Airport, John Osbourne walked in and I may have had a fan girl moment. And, then this happened!!!!

Our flight was delayed in Panama City Beach so I went to the bar to have a drink while we waited. I saw a musician walk in and take a seat in front of us at the bar. Meanwhile, I was talking to a nice man from Franklin, TN while we waited for our plane. He had many connections to country music artists so we were just talking about music and adventures in the industry. I could tell that the musician was maybe listening some. I thought I recognized him, but wasn't 100% sure. Then...I was sure. It's John Osbourne from the Brothers Osbourne! I was in my travel clothes and no make-up, but knew I wanted to say hello.

We chatted for about 10 minutes. He was in PCB writing new music, which he was super excited about. There's a new song from Brothers Osbourne being released to radio next week and that made me smile. He was so down to earth and nice. He told me I have the perfect voice for radio which made me blush. I told him about my favorite BO songs and he loved that "Rum" was at the top of my list! Then, it was finally time to board the flight and this happened...........

John (we're on a first name basis now!) was sitting for awhile before his section was called to board the plane. I saw him approach the gate attendant and then he disappeared. I thought nothing more about it. He probably just asked to board at that time. Chris and I then got in line as some of the last to take the flight and we look over and see a guitar sitting by itself. What???

I went to the gate attendant and asked if John Osbourne had boarded the flight already and he said he did indeed. So, I let them know that he forgot something! Something like his guitar. I told him to let John know that, "Barb Saved his Guitar!!!

The attendant walked with me to where the guitar was sitting and proceeded to take it to John on the plane. When I got on the plane, the gate attendant was still on the plane and introduced me to the flight attendant as, this is "Barb who Saved the Guitar".  A few rows on the plane I see my new friend from Franklin and he said, "Your the Barb that Saved the Guitar" and we both had a chuckle! Then, I spot John and he smiled and said, " I guess I have so many guitars I forget when I leave one behind".

But, wait. Then Chris, my husband asked, "Were you named after Ozzy Osbourne (John is his given name)?"  John smiled wide and said, no I'm not, but............ and I can't tell you how he finished the rest of sentence, but it was hilarious!!!

Stay on guard when you travel as you just never know who you may run into at the airport!
