You've heard of 99 Bottles of Beer on the wall. What about 9,000 barrels of bourbon on the ground?

There's no accompanying song, but that DID happen in Bardstown when a storage facility at the Barton 1792 Distillery collapsed Friday morning.

Fortunately, there were no injuries. But I bet more than just a few bourbon lovers winced at the news.

The Lexington Herald Leader says there were about 20,000 barrels in that particular storage facility.

The cause of the incident has yet to be determined.

The Kentucky Standard spoke with the Bardstown fire chief who said that the OTHER half of the building was leaning and starting to bow.

Scary news considering the weather that's likely headed their way.
