Tori Trizzle, who turned 13 on September 1st, has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer in her leg. In addition, her doctors have found spots on her lungs. The biopsy will reveal the details. Her chemotherapy began on September 3rd. I'm already getting a sense of how tough this brave girl must be.

And you can too during a benefit fundraiser for Tori this Sunday afternoon at 12:30 at Rosine Park in Rosine, Kentucky.

There will be a basketball tournament at the Horse Branch Gym at 1PM. To participate, contact Derek Everly at 363-0662.

Registration for the Ride for Life--a motorcycle ride similar to a poker run--will begin at 12:30. The bikes will take off at 1:15. A $5 fee is requested per each hand played and there is no limit to the number of hands you can play.

1PM is also the start time for live music, food, a silent auction, a corn hole tournament--the registration for which is at 12:30--a walk, t-shirt sales, and all other activities.
