This week, I was wondering aimlessly thru Twitter and came across a really awesome group of Western Kentucky University students. Bike 4 Alz is a group of 12 guys that will be biking across the country this summer in an effort to raise an impressive $175,000 for Alzheimer's research.

This cause began in 2010 in the FIJI fraternity house at WKU. Six guys rode across the country and raised $56,000. This group had expanded from the fraternity to other members of the campus and they have high hopes for this summer. From the two month long 3,000 mile journey, they plan to raise triple that amount!

Take a listen to Will Owens (who by the way is the current KD King!! Yes, the same Kappa Delta that I was a part of! Proud moment!) as he and I discuss the plans for Bike 4 Alz:

With such a great goal of $175,000... Bike 4 Alz needs YOUR help! There are several sponsorship levels and opportunities for your business as well as needs for personal monetary donations.

Every little bit helps and with a cause as great as Alzheimer's research, we need everyone's help!

To donate or for more information, visit www.bike4alz.org.

I can't wait to get updates from the guys as May approaches! Good Luck and I know they can reach this goal!
