Whew! Week one of BKR Boot Camp is in the books and it's going to be a great yet challenging experience for yours truly. I was very sore in places I hadn't been sore in for quite some time and I didn't eat very well. That is about to change. Watch!

Black is supposed to be slimming right? Yes, I have to get serious on the food part of this journey. I have decided to drink water and water only from here on out. I may splurge for a tea once in a while, unsweetened of course. And did you know you are supposed to drink half of your body weight, in ounces, of water every day? I've been drinking water a lot, but I am nowhere close to drinking the amount I need. I've found in drinking water, I would then find something sweet to take the place of pop or sweet tea. Sugar is a big no-no, but it's hard when it's literally in everything.

The scale will not be kind after week one, but it's the motivation I need to work harder and to eat better. Congratulations to all the teams for making it through week one, week two, we're coming for you!
