The black bear that created quite a stir a few weeks ago in Daviess County has made a reappearance. At least that's the assumption. The odds of two DIFFERENT black bears spotted this area are just a little more remote than ONE being spotted.

The same bear that popped up in southern Daviess County in early July has likely resurfaced in Muhlenberg County. The black bear was seen early Wednesday morning eating out of a feeder in the backyard of a Central City home.

Eyewitness News interviewed the residents about the bear and were able to show a few of the nearly ten minutes of video footage taken of the animal.

Since we hadn't heard anything after the last sighting, I assumed the bear had captured safely and transported to a facility that can take care of him. Maybe that will happen now.
