Brad Paisley’s Wheelhouse sounds just like that’s where these gems fit. Brad is joined on several cuts by Dierks Bentley, Hunter Hayes, Mat Kearney, Charlie Daniels, Eric Idle, LL Cool Jay and even the late Roger Miller!  All of the 17 titles sound like the Paisley-esque songs we’ve come to expect from one of the most prolific writers in Country Music’s history. Having said that, I don’t think I know of one song Brad has written that has been recorded by anyone else.

Here’s the lineup: 1. Bon Voyage 2. Southern Comfort Zone 3. Beat This Summer (current single) 4. Outstanding In Our Field (Featuring Dierks Bentley and Roger Miller with Hunter Hayes on guitar) 5. Pressing On A Bruise (Featuring Mat Kearney) 6. I Can't Change The World 7. Onryo 8. Karate (Featuring Charlie Daniels) 9. Death of a Married Man (Featuring Eric Idle) 10. Harvey Bodine 11. Tin Can On A String 12. Death Of A Single Man 13. The Mona Lisa 14. Accidental Racist (Featuring Ll Cool J) 15. Runaway Train 16. Those Crazy Christians 17. Officially Alive

Already there is controversy over the Accidental Racist song. More to come on that.

Eric Church is out with Caught in the Act and from the titles I’d say he’s doing a lot to get caught in. The cover is a "dead" giveaway! Listen to these titles of debauch: I’m Getting’ Stoned, Hungover & Hard Up, Sinners Like Me, Jack Daniels, Smoke a Little Smoke.  On the other hand songs such as Country Music Jesus, How ‘Bout You, the hits, Homeboy, Creepin’ and Springsteen add a needed balance.
