Everyone has their favorite holidays. For some it's Christmas, others see Halloween as numero uno, but for me the greatest holiday is March Madness and the NCAA tournament. Okay, granted, it's not an official holiday, but darn it it should be. Part of the fun this time of year is rubbing a few pennies together and joining the office pool. I have to say, I've done pretty well at the picking of teams and thought I'd dispense some semi- educated advice to all the WBKR faithful.

TIP #! Always Pick A Few Upsets: The beauty of the NCAA tourney is that on a given day David can slay Goliath.

Tip #2 Mascots Don't Win Games: Picking games by the mascot might be fun, but I wouldn't count on that as your winning formula.

Tip #3 Not unlike the Powerball Lotto your odds of winning the $ improve if you fill out multiple sheets so go ahead and take a few brackets from the conference table.

Tip #4 Divine Intervention Can't Hurt: Light a few candles before Thursday at noon!

Tip #5 Start working on that Fake Cough Now: If you're anything like me, you've already used your vacation days up, so if you want to be home and watch every game, make sure you sound deathly ill when talking to the boss!

If any of these tips are helpful in adding a little extra to your bank account, I'll be happy to take my 10 % cut. If my wonderfully thought-out advice doesn't lead you to the land of prosperity, send all hate mail to Chad! All joking aside, have a blast and good luck one and all!
