Amidst the devastation in the Smoky Mountains, the NASCAR community is stepping up and helping out those needing relief and a place to stay.

Bristol Motor Speedway is opening up its infield to fire victims. They are offering race-day campground facilities to families free of charge; the sites have electricity hookups and fully-functioning water. They are also raising funds with their partner Food City in Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee. 100% of the funds raised at those Food City locations December 1st-December 7th will be donated to the Gatlinburg/Sevier County Relief Fund.
