I'd venture to guess that a lot...A WHOLE LOT...of people cross the track you see above every single day. That's why you need to be aware of what's happening Monday.

Rail upgrades will begin Monday morning at this Frederica/11th Street crossing which means CSX Railroad will need it be closed for 2-3 days, according to a press release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Now, you'll still have access to businesses on either side of the crossing. You'll just have to come at them different ways.

There will be marked detours via Parrish Avenue, JR Miller Boulevard, and 4th & 5th Streets.

CSX will attempt to provide timely notice when the crossing is reopened to traffic.

Those who live in nearby neighborhoods and aren't accustomed to heavy traffic should take note.
