American Idol winnin', country music singin' all around starlet Carrie Underwood can now add Golden Globe nominated to her list of achievements. We all knew she was an extremely talented singer and quite the looker to boot, Underwood's co-written (with  David Hodges and Hillary Lindsey) song "There's A Place For Us is competing for the Golden Globe in the Best Original Song – Motion Picture category. As Taste of Country states:

"Carrie Underwood‘s song ‘There’s a Place for Us,’ featured in the film ‘Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader,’ is nominated for a 2011 Golden Globe. The tune, which was co-written by Underwood, David Hodges and Hillary Lindsey, is up for an award in the Best Original Song – Motion Picture category."
