Initially, this wasn't supposed to happen until she was six years old, but I had a feeling it was time... Time for Carsyn's first Tennessee Titans game.  My Titans hosted the Cleveland Browns today and here are mine and Carsyn's highlights... The good, the bad and the "did we just blow a 25 point lead" ugly.

Of course we got a late start, ha! Once we finally got to Gate 5, I may have thrown a small temper tantrum. Yes, me, the adult, had a moment. You see, the NFL changed its regulations of purse size last season, for good reason, and I had this system down to a science... Or so I thought. Although I have taken this purse to EVERY home game this season, apparently, it was too big. After voicing my concerns to the man who could have cared less, I decided the purse would have to go. I shoved all my make-up into my friend Ryan's pocket, then had to go inside and buy one of those ugly clear bags. Ugh...

Game time! We have a friend that plays for the Titans and he said "Hi" to Carsyn before the game, so her day was already made! She made sure he saw that she had his jersey on. We sit right beside the Titans tunnel, a few rows off the field, so I knew she would looooove being that close to the action. Know what is also close by.. Her favorite part of the entire game, the cheerleaders. Shocker, right?!? Ha! And, the sweet girls waved back at her all 37 times she waved at them, ha!

My favorite part? (Well, it sure wasn't blowing a 25 point lead to the dang Browns OR watching my quarterback go down!) Spending some time with just the two of us was better than any football game. And, we all know she's a spitting image of me, but she acts just like me too. Bless her heart, ha! She has the love for the game in her blood, gets it honest. She wanted to see every down, cheering for the hometown boys and booing bad calls. She even impressed me with her trash-talking... "Browns is not a football team. It's a color. My least favorite, ickiest color!" Haha!

So, although it was a tough loss on the field, I'd say today was a win. I can't wait for more quality time at LP Field. After all, it's just a game, right?
