Local Musician To Play With Country Legends

Jim Heep is an Owensboro resident with a really awesome job... he's a musician. Now, I may be a little bias because I've been lucky enough to have Jim play for me on occasion, but I feel like he's one of the best steel guitar players I've seen. He's also had the pleasure of playing on country music's greatest stages, The Grand Ole Opry and The Ryman Auditorium. One of five children, Mary Frances is now at the Craig Institute in Englewood, California. Although she has already far-exceeded all expectations put on her, she still has an incredible journey ahead of her.
