Jaclyn and I had a hunch we should lower the age limit for The Battle for The Big O! And 13-year-old Hayley Beth from Hancock County showed up at our round one auditions Saturday at Trunnell's Farm Market and proved, instantly, that we made the right call. Check out her version of Maggie Rose's song "Better." This kid is GREAT!
Muhlenberg County is gonna be proud of these guys. The band Boys of Broad came to Trunnell's Farm Market on Saturday to audition for The Battle for The Big O. And, they made it through the first round and have qualified for the big finale, Saturday, August 24 at Diamond Lake. Check out their audition and see how Boys of Broad qualified for the main event!
You know, as much as I love the Star Trek franchise, I find the original series to be a little silly...except for the inimitable Leonard Nimoy as Mr. Spock. He was/is awesome! He truly IS the Spock that rocks!

And I had the camera rolling. This is GREAT!
Last week in Nashville, Jaclyn and I saw dozens and dozens of country music artists singing live. For me, no one was better than Kip Moore. He absolutely rocked it out in an acoustic set at the HGTV Lodge downtown. And Jac and I were there to catch his performance. Check out this live version of "Beer Money" and feel free to sing along . . . just like the crowd does!
One of Lynyrd Skynyrd's most popular songs is 'Free Bird'. Hearing someone scream 'Free Bird' at concert, a ball game or a movie theater has become almost a cult phenomenon. It has also been done many times in movies and my all-time favorite example of this is from the movie 'Cars'.
