April 13, 2013 Gospel singer Michael Combs knows what it's like to struggle. For years he battled his own demons with drugs and alcohol that nearly cost him his life in 1991. But, in September of that year, he had a successful liver transplant and, having devoted his life to Jesus Christ a couple of years prior, set out on a Ministry of Music. And, Friday, June 14th, that path will bring him to Owensboro, where he will perform at Bellevue Baptist Church and help raise money for the Lighthouse Recovery Series.
April 12, 2013 The Daviess County Band of Pride is hosting a fundraiser event Saturday night! All band families and friends are invited to the auction and dinner this Saturday, April 13th, at Pangea Cafe and Catering. Dinner starts at 6:00pm. There will be a silent auction and a live auction. This is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year. Money raised is used to fund the fall marching season.
