May 30, 2012 For the second year in a row, Santa Claus is a finalist in the 2012 Best of the Road Rally sponsored by USA Today and Rand McNally. The town will compete with six other destinations in the category for “Most Fun” small town in America. Santa Claus, Indiana was chosen from more than 650 competing destinations.
May 29, 2012 The Mammoth, the brand new water coaster at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari is billed as THE longest water coaster in the world! Now, the ride is getting even more recognition. Yahoo! has officially declared the brand new ride one of the world's WILDEST water slides! Check it out!

May 23, 2012 You just never know what's gonna crawl out from underneath your semi-perfectly-kept-if-you-look-at-it-from-the-road landscaping. Today, I found something pretty interesting! On my way out the door to pick up Carsyn from the sitter, I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. I first thought it was a mole. After catching my breath, I thought to myself that my cat, Pippa would take care of it later on. (She's gotten 12 so far this year...good kitty!) Well, my curiosity got the best of me and I just had to look. It was most certainly not a mole!

May 21, 2012 Sunday afternoon, Carsyn and I made a fun trip to Reid's Orchard. They had a small petting zoo for the day and horse rides. Now, Carsyn has been talkin reaaaal big lately about how she wanted to ride a real, big horse. So, I thought I'd test her out and see just how tough she really was. Well, needless to say, she made me proud!
