Actress Alicia Silverstone made headlines for telling the world that she "baby birds" her child. Ok, what the heck is "baby birding"?!? Haha! It's basically chewing up food in your mouth and giving it to your child. So, of course, while visiting the Precious Blood cooking team at the International BBQ Festival, this topic came up and ended with me "baby birding" Chad!

I DO NOT get paid enough to do the things that he makes me do, ha! I mean, what says "Mothers Day" quite like chewing up a pulled pork sandwich for your 40 year-old co-worker?!?

And lots of crawfish showed up too. In fact, there were 1,023 pounds of crawfish cooked yesterday and they were all gone by 6pm. The Daviess County Band of Pride is hosting a fundraiser event Saturday night! All band families and friends are invited to the auction and dinner this Saturday, April 13th, at Pangea Cafe and Catering. Dinner starts at 6:00pm. There will be a silent auction and a live auction. This is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year. Money raised is used to fund the fall marching season.
