Wow! I had no idea because I thought he was like all the other loveable cartoon characters, I thought he didn't age. Boy was I wrong. After reports came out the fast-food giant was putting $1billion into a makeover for its restaurants, critics have followed up with the argument Ronald should should be retired.
Western Kentucky University athletic department has a great traveling program to introduce you, the fans, to some pretty important people! Tuesday, June 7th, you can meet some of the head coaches, Topperettes and more!
Taking vacations are a rarity for yours truly. And 99.9% of my vacations are taken with my family, and there's nothing wrong with that. I don't always jump at the chance to go somewhere for an extended time period with my parents. However, I wanted to this time because my sister and her husband were going. This was probably the last time before my sister Hillary gives birth to her first child in August that we would all be able to get away one last time. So where did we go?
This past weekend, my band and I traveled down to Athens, Tennessee for the National Moo Fest. Yep...even I couldn't make that one up! Ha!
There will be a benefit for John Chandler and family Saturday morning here in Owensboro. John served this community as a volunteer fire fighter, fire chief and board member since the department's conception. John's family lost their home to a fire on May 22nd of this year.
Let me start by saying that I congratulate anyone who gets married and sincerely hope that they have a long and happy life together. Many people I know are married. Hey, my parents got married. But let me just say...I hate weddings. Yes, they are a fact of life. Yes, we will or have had to attend at least one in our lifetimes. Got it. Been there. Done that. Didn't take home a napkin. But maybe if the reception menu looked a little like that of former Carrie Underwood boyfriend and current Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, there might be something to look forward to.
The LoCash Cowboys aka Preston and Chris have conquered the country charts and the hearts of many ladies, including here in Owensboro, but can they conquer a 72 oz. steak in an hour? And not just the steak, add to that a big salad, a baked potato, and a couple of slices of Texas toast
No one should go hungry today. The benefit for Robert Hobbs ends at two PM or later if the food lasts but the Jerry Morris cooking team are not the only ones cooking to fight cancer today. Red's Fish House of the South on Tamarack Rd. here in Owensboro is frying catfish to help a local man with medical expenses.
Jerry Morris and his cooking team are cooking delicious chicken and Boston butts to raise money for a local teacher who is suffering from stage four brain cancer. The team has been cooking since 3:30 AM and they have delicious whole chickens for eight dollars and Boston butts
Stop in Shoe Stop today for great deals and good stuff to eat. Angels for Ashley is cooking Boston butts, BBQ chickens, ribs, pork sandwiches, cold drinks and ohhh it is sooo good. Come on out anytime between now and 7 PM
Moon here. I read in the Wall Street Journal everything you eat is not necessarily food. I wasn’t what you’d call shocked – I don’t shock much – but very surprised that you and I have been consuming -- wood pulp.
