August 8, 2012 Join the Owensboro Humane Society at the Pangea Cafe on Aug. 15th for great food while supporting the Owensboro Humane Society. Pangea Cafe will donate 10 % (dine-in or carry-out) of the total food sales to their No Kill shelter
August 8, 2012 Western Kentucky University's Owensboro campus is hosting a picnic for new and returning students in the area on Thursday, August 9th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. All alumni, family and friends are invited to play games and win door prizes! The event will feature local musicians Heath Eric and Molly G and hotdogs and hamburgers will be provided by ATMOS Energy
August 3, 2012 Our friends at Tumbleweed are always very generous when we need their help with anything! They have provided several lunches for my Big O Party's here at the station and next week they are helping out The Help Office.
Tumbleweed, 5257 Frederica Street, is hosting a fundraiser Tuesday, August 7th, with 10% of all proceeds benefiting The Help Office.
This will be a really fun night! For some crazy reason, they've asked me to be a celebrity server, so prepare yourself for that trainwreck! I was never a server for a reason...terrible balance! Ha! It is a Hawaiian Luau theme, what shall I wear?!! Joe Lowe will also be serving as well, in his coconut bra!!

July 26, 2012 When I think of Jerry Morris, I think of two things... delicious food and an extremely generous person! Well, the good news for all of us is that Jerry will be combining those two things and helping us out with Jac's Big O Party this Friday! He'll be cooking up some yummy plate lunches and helping us raise money for St. Jude Chi
Hope you had a chance to listen to last night's RACETALK from Show-Me's in Owensboro's Towne Square Mall. We had a lot of great drivers on the air along with track promoters and a room full of people who stopped by to see us last night. July 23, 2012 Lee Ann Womack has a brand new gig and it promises to make you HUNGRY! I was watching TV Sunday night and caught a glimpse of Lee Ann's brand new commercial for Zaxby's. Yep! The woman who soared to the top of the charts with " I Hope You Dance" has teamed with the fast food gaint to promote their Roadhouse Zalad and the return of their sinful Birthday Cake Milkshake.
