February 16, 2011 Our very own "Rock", Chris Riley is excited because Dwayne Johnson is returning to wrestling. The artist still known as The Rock was introduced last night as the surprise host of Wrestlemania 27, which will take place in Atlanta at the end of March.
Johnson, whose last ring appearance was in 2004, left professional wrestling to pursue a career in acting. The 38-year old told the crowd at WWE Live Monday night that “I am back in the ring” and that “I am never, ever going away."
Johnson still has three movies in production, according to IMDB, so his film career isn’t necessarily over because he is wrestling again.

February 14, 2011 If you tune into The WBKR Waking Crew, you know that Moon and I argue about the Grammys everytime they roll around. I love the Grammy Awards. Moon doesn't think anyone watches or cares (though I do want to mention that even he DVR'd last night's show! Lol!) And last night's show was AWESOME! And, as usual, there were some hits and some gigantic misses! But the biggest "hit" of all, came from the COUNTRY!

In fact, we lost approximately 200 contestants as Steven Tyler, J. Lo. and Randy Jackson narrowed the field to 168. Some of the early favorites sailed through, others bit the proverbial dust! American Idol auditions are in the can! Last night, our judges rolled into San Francisco, where they found a couple of singers ready to go for Idol gold! If you missed last night's show, go to You Tube and check out Julie Zorilla. She's beautiful, looks the part, sounds the part and sang the daylights out of Summertime! And, be sure to take a listen to James Durbin, who is this season's answer to Adam Lambert. With his crazy-mad vocals and inspiring backstory, this kid is in it to win it.

American Idol has been to L.A. before for auditions and the city has historically given us some pretty impressive talent.
