May 30, 2011 Hey, Gang! Chad here! One of my favorite parts of the WBKR Waking Crew is our Nashville insider, Nashville Kat! She's a total blast and, like a "tidy" cat, she's always got the "scoop" for us. Each morning around 7:40, she hacks up some of the juciest furballs about your favorite country music stars and shares them with Moon and me. She's always insightful, hilarious and her voice is, well, the Kat's Meow! So, I thought I would give you all the chance to meet Nashville Kat up close and personal! I sat down with her for this EXCLUSIVE interview (Anderson Cooper, eat your heart out!) and I call it an "exclusive" interview because this is the first one she's ever done! In the movies bank heists always include cool masks. Like for instance, the Joker in "The Dark Knight", clown masked his comrades in crime. I've seen the presidential rubber masks and even those semi- transparent human face masks...those really creep me out. The thing is you usually don't use outdated hair dos to hide your true identity, that is of course, until the mullet bandit arrived.

May 26, 2011 If you were watching American Idol last night, it may have appeared that Fox meteorologist Ron Rhodes won the title! Because of severe weather coverage and the threat of tornadoes and damaging straight line winds, Ron was on the tube alot during the Idol finale! But that didn't stop the proceedings at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, where Scotty McCreery was crowned our latest champion! So, did American get it right? And will Scotty and runner-up Lauren Alaina have careers after Season 10 is forgotten? Moon, Chad and our Idol expert Steve Thompson take a look at the finale and the season that was . . .
May 25, 2011 Tonight is the 10th season finale of American Idol and one thing is for sure . . . we're going to have a country star taking the title! Last night in the finale, my pre-season pick, Lauren Alaina, squared off against America's boy next door, Scotty McCreery! According to Idol's Facebook fan poll (posted BEFORE the show yesterday), Scotty was the winner by a country mile! But, last night, most agree that Lauren had the better night! So, what does our Idol expert Steve Thompson think? Who will be crowned our next American Idol tonight at the big finale?
May 24, 2011 If you missed LEGENDARY LIVE Saturday, you missed an amazing afternoon and evening of great country music. As you guys know, I was the emcee of the show and our very own midday gal, Jaclyn Graves, actually performed! And, I must say, she was awesome and right at home on the stage with some of the biggest stars in country music. But some of the best action took place BEHIND THE SCENES. We were there too!!! And, the best news, we had a video camera! So, what do you think??? You wanna peak backstage???

Chad and Jaclyn are hanging out with the crowd at The Legendary Live Concert at Rivermont Park in downtown Owensboro and it is confirmed.....tickets are still available at the gate! Thus far Jaclyn, LoCash Cowboys, and Brett Eldredge have hit the stage
