Last week end Angel's daughter Charlotte went to Cloverport for the Sacajawea Festivals and entered the Baby Beautiful Pageant. To our delight, she won!

I always love to hear when one of our own from Owensboro finds success out in Hollywood.  It is even more exciting when I personally know them.

A friend who works for Taylor's Grocery Outlet told me yesterday the store located on West 2nd Street will be closing its doors after years in business.

Aldi Grocery Store is my favorite grocery store in Owensboro.  I was dishearted yesterday to find it will be closing at least temporarily!

Who remembers the WBKR Bear across the side and back of the Red Van?  It's GONE!  No worries though the van got a makeover this summer and you have to check it out~

I always love when country music artists team up to sing classic and fun country songs.  Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town are singing one of my favorites.  Watch~

We received news this afternoon that Papa Grande Mexican Restaurant will be opening a new location on Hwy 54.

Late Sunday evening Gabe's Shopping Center located at the corner of 18th and Triplett Street was vandalized.

We received the information this morning that yet another store in Owensboro will be closing its' doors at the end of July.  I am totally saddened by this news!

Gateway Commons seems to be like the popular kid in school and everybody wants to hang out.  In this case, all our Owensboro stores seem to want to move in!

Well, I hate to break this news but it was announced yesterday that Skates Alive in Owensboro will be closing its doors the weekend of July 29th.

Scrolling through Twitter this morning I discovered something cheap and delicious!  Krispy Kreme is celebrating 80 years in a big way and everyone is going to benefit.
