December 23, 2011 Being that Carsyn is two and a half years old, I figured that she's old enough for us to start some Christmas traditions. well, I love those cute little homemade ornaments and thought that a reindeer ornament would be the perfect project! Haha... well, at least it was fun!
There have been so many movies about Christmas, some good some not so good. 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' ranks #1 on my list, 'Home Alone' & 'Home Alone 2' are great movies too. Also got to love the classic animated shows like 'Frosty the Snowman', 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer', and other greats like 'The Santa Claus', 'Polar Express', 'The Grinch' and so many more!

December 22, 2011 I have been to Arlington National Cemetery twice in my lifetime--once when I was 4, and then again in 1994 when I was 28. By the way, on the day I went there in '94, there was kind of a light, misty rain and the skies were cloudy. It was very eerie. But after what I've recently learned, I'd now like to try to get there around Christmastime.

December 22, 2011 It seems like it should still be just our first official day of Christmas Wish. Well, actually, today is our last. It's been a roller coaster of a year, to say the least. But, as a community, we pulled together and CW was a great success.
