A beauty queen with ties to Owensboro has been busy this holiday season proving that giving is so much more important than receiving. Korin Cross, an OHS graduate, U of L freshman and the reigning Miss Kentucky Teen Cover Girl Queen, has established a non-profit organization to benefit the victims of the recent school shooting in Connecticut. This morning, she braved the snow to visit The WBKR Waking Crew and share her inspiration for "Something to Remember" and her vision of what she wants the charity to accomplish. Take a listen!
