I'm (typically) not the kind of gal who takes a lot of selfies. Now, I've been known to take them with Carsyn when it's just us, but my Instagram pics don't normally credit me as the photographer. There are times when I'll make an exception and last night qualified. See, I got my hair cut and wanted to show my social media friends. Know what that means?!? Selfie-time! We are so excited for next year!  Earlier this week, Jaclyn and I announced that we are hosting a Carnival cruise to Mexico in 2015!  On Monday, October 12th, we're going to board the Carnival Elation for a 5-day cruise to Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.  And, we're leaving out of New Orleans, which is good news.  There are several ways to get to the port and truly one to fit every price range!

It's no secret how dedicated we all are here at WBKR to the cause of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Our entire community has taken it upon itself to continue to fight for childhood cancer research and that extends to our kiddos, as well. On Thursday, two of my favorite kids will be here at the station to raise money for the "sick babies".
My Carsyn planted and picked some punkins' that she'll be selling for a donation and Gavin Howard will be here with t-shirts for sale that he designed!
