Nick Lower showed up at Super Bowl week’s Media Day on Tuesday looking an awful lot like New England Patriots’ star Tom Brady, but his motivation for impersonating the popular quarterback doesn’t seem quite so nefarious.
This past weekend we had a fun girls day out. Beauty And The Beast 3D is out in theaters and I, I mean Carsyn, was SO excited to go see it. This has always been one of my favorite movies and I was really excited to share it with my little girl.
New Year’s Eve is one of the most fun celebrations of the year, but, seriously, of all the things to drop on this over-the-top extravaganza New York chose that dull ball? We know it’s tradition, but come on. There are plenty of other things to drop, like pelicans, pickles and even drag queens. Check out how some people across the country do up New Years.
Last Saturday, the family had our annual Christmas pictures scheduled. Well, all of you Moms out there know that this is going to go one of two ways....either fabulous or a trainwreck! Haha! Well, I'm happy to report that the shoot went great! Bella Photography by Gina Ballard (She also took Carsyn's two year old pics) did an awesome job! Take a look...
Photos by Dave Spencer I was watching a broadcast on one of the 24 hour news channels and the anchor was reporting about a woman who'd been missing for many years. And they put up a graphic showing what she'd look like today. They obviously had used some aging software for their purposes. I thought that was really cool and decided to Google "how will I look old." I came up with an awesome website--http://morph.cs.st-andrews.ac.uk/Transformer/. I then decided to have a little fun with some photos of the WBKR airstaff. Who do YOU think has the most authentic-looking age-enhanced photo?
When I got to work this morning, I went straight into a production room to do a few things so I did not see this newspaper article and accompanying photo from the Messenger-Inquirer that had been taped to the door of the WBKR studio
Well, this is just cool. A picture's worth a thousand words, they say. I don't think I can come up with the words. But I have a question: "How did a volcanic eruption generate what looks like lightning in the sky?" Science never was my strong suit, but I did take a couple of meteorology classes
Yes, it happened, and I still can't believe it. I'm speechless, stunned, dumbfounded, etc. The team no one thought would make the postseason silenced their naysayers by playing their hearts out and winning their 11th World Series over the tenacious Texas Rangers.
